SPH: 2024-26 HPV CHAT: Communicating About HPV Vaccination to Adults and Teens

HPV CHAT stands for Communicating about HPV Vaccination to Adults and Teens. This course will capture the important steps to recommending the HPV vaccine to parents and patients. The vaccine is effective at preventing six different types of cancer. This training will focus on strategies that foster an open dialogue with patients so that they can make informed decisions about cancer prevention. 

Target Audience

This activity is designed for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, nurse practitioners, and pharmacists.

Learning Objectives

After completing this training, learners will have:

1. Strengthened their communication strategies and tools for HPV vaccine recommendations.

2. Boosted confidence in responding to caregivers' and patients' concerns around HPV vaccination.
